Yoga - Restoring the nervous system

•The RI.Perspective
Restoring the Nervous System Through Yoga is grounded in the vision of Laura Stefani, a Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga teacher with fifteen years of teaching behind her, who approaches yoga as an inquiry in which embodied experience becomes the foundation for listening to internal states and supporting nervous system regulation.
The programme unfolds across six phases, moving through physical safety, functional strength, and work with the heart space. The morning sessions activate movement and presence, while the evening practices encourage the release of tension and the assimilation of what has emerged. This alternation allows contraction and accumulated pressure to shift into a more stable perception of self.
Set within the landscape of the Sicilian Baroque, between Modica, Noto, and Scicli, Masseria Boscorotondo offers an intimate setting, surrounded by palm trees, olive trees, and countryside: a place where contact with nature helps create distance from the overload of everyday routine.
This process fosters greater trust in one’s own felt sense: the ability to read the body’s signals with greater precision and to act with clarity, replacing automatic reactivity with a more conscious response. In this way, the retreat offers essential tools for maintaining centeredness and care in daily life.
