Pilates

The RI.Perspective
In the Langhe, the retreat proposed by Francesca Cusani, founder of PilatesMilano, takes shape as an experience built around a precise idea of movement: not simply training, but conscious listening to the body as a space for re-education. A short and focused retreat designed to cultivate a deeper physical intelligence.
Francesca, a graduate in Sports Science, brings this academic foundation directly into her rigorous approach to teaching Matwork Pilates. Movement is treated as a tool of precision, capable of refining the quality of each gesture and supporting the body’s biomechanical balance. Each exercise becomes an opportunity for observation and correction.
Greater focus is supported by the isolation of the place and the quiet rhythm of the surrounding hills. The slower pace of the territory invites exploration of the outdoor spaces and a natural slowing down: at Relais Montemarino the conditions are in place to soften external noise and create a more attentive environment.
Within this perspective, Pilates becomes a way to open a more balanced relationship with the body — a work of precision that combines awareness of movement with the search for a more stable physical and mental well-being.
