Pura Vida

The RI.Perspective
Costa Rica Yoga Retreat is defined by practice, an unspoiled setting, and community life on the Osa Peninsula. Guided by Joan Hyman, founder of The School of Yoga with over twenty years of international experience, the project takes on a solid and precise direction, weaving together Ashtanga, Iyengar yoga, Ayurveda, and meditation.
The schedule alternates extended morning sessions with more introspective moments at sunset.
The yoga studio, built from reclaimed teak and surrounded by ancient trees along the monkeys’ natural corridor, allows participants to deepen the practice while immersed in the silence and calls of tropical wildlife.
Todo Amor, an off-grid oceanfront property, lends the stay an essential, remote, and intimate character. This ecosystem is also experienced through surfing and excursions within the jungle.
From here, the most tangible meaning of Pura Vida takes shape: a concrete simplicity shaped by the body, the rhythm of the days, and direct contact with the natural elements.
