Botanical Watercolour Painting

The RI.Perspective
In the Chianti countryside, among vineyards and olive groves, Úrsula Romero’s flower painting retreat at the Rignana Estate gives you a nurturing setting that will elevate and polish your painting skills and broaden your artistic horizons.
This five-day retreat takes painters on a transformative journey into their creative expression within the field of flower painting and the botanical arts. Guided by Úrsula, you will explore the importance of thoughtful lighting, the true meaning of painting backgrounds and space, how to mix realistic colours, how to achieve good tones to give form, how to compose show-stopping pieces, and how to scale your pieces up to bigger watercolours.
You’ll learn and relax in the idyllic Rignana Estate, a sanctuary for painters, where time slows, presence expands, and creativity blossoms, nourishing your artistry from the inside out. The experience closes with a final presentation of the work developed during the retreat. You will leave feeling refreshed, confident and inspired.
