•The RI.Perspective
In Tuscany, Carolina Leveza brings a retreat that interweaves Dynamic Yoga rooted in Ashtanga, Primal Moves, and Dance Through the Elements within a practice built on conscious repetition, rhythm, sensory listening, and emotional release. The dynamic foundation of yoga gives direction to the work; Primal Moves draws on forms akin to yoga, but approaches them through movement rather than stillness; dance, in turn, opens a more musical, imaginative, and expressive space. What emerges is an experience that expands physicality beyond technique and allows what the body tends to hold back to come to the surface.
The structure of the retreat supports this approach well: Somatic Practice in the morning and late afternoon, Opening and Closing Circle, and enough time for what is set in motion during practice to continue beyond the session itself. Set within a stone farmhouse, Ebbio’s outdoor courtyard, pergola, and shared open-air spaces offer a fitting setting for a proposal that brings movement, music, and listening into relation.
