Ritiro di Luce

•The RI.Perspective
At Favignana, a retreat takes shape where practices of presence and artistic language meet in dialogue with the island’s landscape. Between Mediterranean light, wind, and sea, the experience unfolds in an essential environment that encourages a more attentive relationship with gesture, observation, and the unfolding of the creative process.
The retreat is guided by Fulvia Bernacca, a visual artist and facilitator who integrates into yoga a refined perceptual sensitivity shaped also by the gaze of photography. Her vision proposes movement and breath as rituals of care, inviting participants to inhabit the body with the same patience required by cyanotype, the ancient solar printing technique that defines the retreat’s creative workshop. Here, light slowly impresses forms and traces onto paper, in a process that mirrors the quality of the practice: slowing down, observing, allowing what emerges to take shape.
In this space, time becomes a dimension of listening, where imperfection and unpredictability open the possibility for an authentic transformation.
The setting of Talèa – Casa Mediterranea contributes to shaping the experience: a refuge suspended between land and sea which, with its quiet platforms overlooking the landscape and the flavors of the Sicilian garden, creates the ideal conditions for an experience of conscious care.
