Embroidery on tulle

•The RI.Perspective
Trained at École Lesage in Paris and influenced by the Lunéville technique, Kathrin Marchenko combines technical rigor with an intuitive pulse. She works with thread as if it were painterly material, choosing tulle for its ability to generate transparency, depth, and volume through light stratifications. Her process begins with organic images and inner symbols that, without preparatory sketches, take form in an “organized chaos” and gradually resolve into intentional composition. The textile surface becomes a three-dimensional canvas, where every gesture remains attentive and deliberate.
The Atelier Creative Retreat, in Sant Pere Pescador in the heart of Costa Brava, supports this research with studios infused with Mediterranean light and an intimate atmosphere that fosters immersion and concentration. The proximity to the Dalí Museum and its surrealist imaginary further expands the creative gaze, placing the work within a living cultural dialogue.
An experience for those ready to move beyond craftsmanship into artistic expression: a conscious passage toward regeneration and creative rebirth.
